JROTC
The Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) program prepares high school cadets for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens. The course of study includes instruction in citizenship, social responsibility, leadership, problem solving, communication, study skills, conflict resolution healthy living, environmental awareness, U.S. historical perspective, global geography, personal financial management and career planning. The first three years concentrate on a sequential curriculum to prepare students for expected levels of proficiency. The fourth year provides cadets with an opportunity to apply their leadership skills in various positions of responsibility.
